Joe Adee- Guitarist, Lead Vocals & Harmonica: Grew up in Upstate NY. Joe is a fun energetic musician. Has been playing guitar and harmonica since he was 14. Completely self taught. This husband to Sandy (aka Brandy) and father of 2 girls Autum and Jessica. Joe has been playing music 30+ years. Joe has played from Stowe VT to Nashville TN. Small to Large stages and everything in between. Powerful voice and bold stage presence. Filled with positive vibes that spills over to the crowd! Super family oriented shows to say the least. Singer/songwriter has enjoyed years of composing and writing song's. Joe has written Jingles for radio stations include WMYY and 88.3 The Saint. His original song that he wrote in 1996 in memory of his grandfather "The Hollow" has been on WRPI Bluegrass morning show over the years. Joe also co-wrote "Thank God I'm in The Country" with AJ Masters, a Nashville Singer/song writter. AJ wrote songs for Fair Hill and Brooks & Dunn, he also played guitar for Charlie Rich . AJ Masters recorded with Oak Ridge Boys, John Berry, Faith Hill just to name a few.. Joe also played harmonica on stage with Dotty West 1991 at the Nashville Palace, opened up for John Conlee Jr. 1992. Joe jammed with Jim Weider from "The Band" in woodstock NY 1992. Joe also did a porch jam with Keith Carradine. Joe and His Band "Winds of Change" opened up for "Montgomery Gentry at Knickerbocker Arena 2005. Other songs Joe has written and recorded are available on itunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and iHeart Radio, Deezer, Pandora, they can be heard around the globe. Over the years Joe has performed in numerous bands, Bill Mullen & The Whalers, Gemini, Burgundy, Shotgun Blues Band, Winds of Change, Crossfire, The Barn Stormers, The Joe Adee Band and currently with "Joe Adee & The Lug Nuts".
Phil Lanz- Drummer & Backing Vocals: Phil growing up in Renssealaer, NY realized his love for Rock & Roll at the tender age of four year's old when he first heard the Beatles, Revolution. It was then, that Phil sensed Rock and Roll would hold a special place in his life. Phil carried that early love and appreciation of rock and roll into his drumming, lending his developed Ringo/Watts back beat style to many Albany NY based groups such as The Dugan's, Mercy Twin, 500 Hats, Crab Apple, Pure Dirt, The Rob Skane 3, and Lost Art . Phil was even fortunate to grace a touring roadie stint with Chubby Checker and remains and plays frequently in Upstate NY. Currently in "Joe Adee and The Lug Nuts".
Sandy Adee -Percussion/Backing Vocals: Sandy knew she loved music since she was around 3 years old when her father would play drums and she would dance to the beat. Sandy grew up in Kinderhook NY. She is a wife to Joe and mother of 2 (Autum & Jessica). Sandy spent 5 years singing chorus. Sandy has played on stage with Joe for the last 12 years. She has spent the last 28 years managing Joe's music endeavors. Currently Performing and Managing/Booking for "Joe Adee and The Lug Nuts".
Steve Barmash -Bass Guitarist & Backing Vocals: Steve was born and raised in Flushing NY. He honed his instrumental skills as a cellist in the Queens, NY Youth Orchestra. Steve is a Husband and Father of 2, Grandpa of 1. Steve's biggest early successes in music was, as a member of the million-record selling band "The Impalas" and subsequently the "A La Carte Show". After moving to the Capital District region of New York State, Steve performed and recorded with several popular groups including the Nomads, Oz, The Michael Packer Blues Band, The Kix Band, E'Town Express, and the Open Bar Band. Currently in "Joe Adee & The Lug Nuts".
